CNC Swiss Machining
Swiss Screw Machines provides the capability to machine very small parts.
Swiss Screw Machining is a fast, cost effective way to produce
large quantities of intricate, precise parts.
Different types
of guide bushings are used to achive tighter fits & tolerences.
This includes live
drilling and milling capabilities.
Swiss
turning allows parts to move along a Z-axis while the tools
remain stationary, unlike conventional turning in which the
part is stationary and the tools move. Work pieces are firmly
held within the machine and are advanced through a guide bushing.
Different
types of guide bushing are used to achieve tighter
fits and tolerances. Because only one section of the piece
is machined at a time, this process almost completely eliminates
deflection and vibration to further improve machining accuracy. Our
CNC controlled Swiss screw machines have sub-spindle and cross-work
capabilities. These machines produce 1/16" to
1 1/4" diameter parts that drop off the machine complete, effectively
eliminating costly secondary operations.
